Ruth Burotte
Born in 1998 in Queens and raised in Georgia, Ruth Burotte (RUTAMFI) is a Miami-based multidisciplinary artist blending watercolor and digital media to explore identity, technology, and society. A New World School of the Arts graduate, she creates bold, character-driven works that challenge archetypes and center underrepresented voices—often Black and female. Through public art and immersive installations like Rose Tinted, she uses humor and emotional depth to confront bias, mental health, and generational trauma, shaping Miami’s evolving creative landscape.
